Accustomed to using prefabricated aluminum frames, GGE gave us the task of redeveloping their exhibit space into a custom gallery. We first streamlined the circulation around the meeting areas to make viewing their art less difficult. This allowed for a visitor to view all artwork on a single path, without repeatedly viewing areas.
In terms of structure, we then used large custom frames at toward the front portion of the exhibit to give a welcoming perception. This was contrasted with the requirement that the four meeting areas contained in the booth all have levels of privacy. Voids were added into walls and filled with streaming lights to add depth into the gallery.
